The Sitcom Trials
In October 2009 I was shortlisted for The Sitcom Trials, a stage and TV show where sitcom scripts are performed by actors competing head to head with one another.
The stage show ran at London’s Leicester Square Theatre, with the audience voting alongside a panel of experts from the broadcast and comedy industries.
I breezed the first round, winning the audience and judges votes with my script, “Alan Pob: Writing Wrongs”. Strangely enough, despite winning the audience vote twice yes twice, I was eliminated at the semi final stage. Still, it was fun while it lasted.
